Sitemaps are an easy way for webmasters to inform search engines about pages on their sites that are available for crawling. The standard protocol is described at
http://sitemaps.org.
The web by Pixel
Content Management System now supports the sitemap protocol for pages and blogs. The site administrator can select individual pages and blogs and expose the links to the selected pages for the search engine to crawl.
The sitemap is maintained as a section under the site template. Here it's possible to add, edit or delete "locations". It's also possible to scan Pages or Blogs for available "locations".
In addition to this individual Pages or Blogs can be added or removed from within the admin applications for Pages and Blogs by using the "Ad to Sitemap" or "Remove from Sitemap" button
