We have upgraded to the latest version of the programming language used to generate the dynamic content on the websites we are hosting.

The new version called PHP 7 provides performance improvements and uses less memory compared to the previous version PHP 5.6. In some instances the new version is twice as fast as the old one for the same operations. The web sites still pulls the data out of the same databases and those operation will still take the same time as before but all users should see improved performance and the servers will be able to handle more requests compared to the old version.
